FONTANA & RODGERS

In the proceedings before Hannam J, the parties were Fontana (the father) and Rodgers (the mother). The dispute concerned parenting orders for the children, [V] and [Y].

The court was required to determine the terms of consent orders regarding the children's time with the father, the preparation of an updated report by Dr [R], and the listing of the matter for mention.

By consent of the parties, the court made orders varying previous interim orders concerning the children's time with the father. These orders stipulated specific weekend arrangements for the children to spend time with the father, commencing in September 2014, and detailed the process for changeovers. The court also ordered that Dr [R] prepare an updated report, which would involve interviewing the parties, the children, Ms [L] and her children, Mr [B], and any other individuals deemed necessary by Dr [R]. Furthermore, Dr [R] was to be provided with details of the mother's treatment and prognosis from her treating doctors. The matter was to be listed for mention in December 2014, and a previous order was discharged. Additionally, Mr B was appointed as a Case Guardian for the respondent mother, Ms Rodgers, pending further order.
