Fong & Guo (No. 2)

In *Fong & Guo (No. 2)*, the Family Court of Australia, presided over by Rees J, dealt with an application for costs made by Ms Fong against Mr Guo.

The central legal issue before the court was whether the respondent, Mr Guo, should be ordered to pay the applicant's costs, and if so, to what extent.

Rees J ordered that the respondent pay the applicant the sum of $2,000 by way of costs within one month. The court also dismissed the applicant's separate application for costs filed on 10 May 2021.
