Foley and Foley

In the matter of *Foley and Foley*, Strickland J of the Family Court of Australia considered an application by the wife alleging contravention and a response filed by the husband. The wife's application was filed on 21 February 2008, and the husband's response was filed on 30 June 2008.

The court was required to determine whether the wife's application alleging contravention should be dismissed, and to consider the husband's response and further proceedings related to the wife's amended application.

Strickland J ordered that the wife's application alleging contravention be dismissed. The court also dismissed paragraphs 4 and 5 of the husband's response, and the entirety of the husband's response. Further consideration of paragraph 7 of the wife's amended application was adjourned to a later date.
