Filles and Filles

In *Filles and Filles*, Brown J of the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia made orders concerning the living arrangements and time spent with four children. The dispute centred on the children's residence and the terms of their contact with their mother, following the breakdown of the parents' relationship.

The court was required to determine the primary residence of the children and the specific arrangements for their time with the wife. The court also directed both parties to undergo psychiatric assessments and requested Victoria Legal Aid to extend aid for these reports. A Family Report was ordered to be prepared and released by a specified date, with the psychiatric assessments to be made available to the family consultant.
