Dowbell and Muscatidis

In the matter of *Dowbell and Muscatidis*, heard by Justice Cronin, the dispute concerned interim property settlement between the parties. The applicant sought interim orders, to which the respondent filed a response.

The court was required to determine whether to grant the applicant's request for interim property settlement orders and, if so, on what terms. The court also had to consider the appropriate disposition of the applications and responses filed by the parties.

Justice Cronin ordered that the respondent pay $90,000 to the applicant's solicitors by 4.00pm on 15 February 2010 by way of interim property settlement. The court otherwise dismissed the application for interim orders filed on 10 November 2009 and the response filed on 8 December 2009. Any application for costs arising from these orders was to be determined by written submission, with a deadline of 4.00pm on 25 January 2010 for the initial filing and service, and 4.00pm on 5 February 2010 for any response, unless the parties agreed otherwise. The matter was adjourned for determination in chambers.
