In the matter of *Domeny & Domeny*, Aldridge J considered an application by the Wife for interim orders concerning property occupancy and maintenance. The dispute involved the parties' matrimonial home and the Husband's financial obligations to the Wife pending final resolution of their family law proceedings.

The primary legal issues before the Court were whether to grant the Wife exclusive occupancy of the matrimonial home and whether to order the Husband to pay urgent maintenance to the Wife. The Court was required to determine if the circumstances warranted such interim measures under the *Family Law Act 1975* (Cth).

Aldridge J made orders granting the Wife exclusive occupancy of the property located at B Street, C Town. This included an order for the Husband to vacate the property within seven days and to leave all furniture, household effects, and contents in place. Furthermore, the Court ordered the Husband to pay the Wife urgent maintenance of $600 per week, commencing on 10 February 2015, pursuant to section 77 of the *Family Law Act 1975* (Cth). The remaining interim orders sought by the Wife were stood over for further consideration.
