Dokic and Jamenev

In the matter of *Dokic and Jamenev*, heard before Macmillan J, the dispute concerned orders relating to the children B and C, born in 2010 and 2011 respectively. The orders made on 31 August 2016 addressed arrangements for the children to spend supervised time with the father and imposed restrictions on the mother regarding the children's engagement with mental health practitioners.

The court was required to determine the terms of supervised contact between the father and the children, and to consider the mother's actions in seeking mental health treatment for the children. The court also considered an application for costs made by the father.

Macmillan J ordered that within seven days of the Independent Children’s Lawyer's nomination, the mother and father were to take all necessary steps to apply for the children to spend supervised time with the father at a nominated contact centre, if so ordered by the Court. Furthermore, the mother, her servants, and agents were restrained from taking the children to D Psychology or any other mental health practitioner until further order. The Independent Children’s Lawyer was granted liberty to forward a sealed copy of the order to D Psychology and any other treating medical practitioner for the children. The father's oral application for costs was dismissed.
