Dogra v Dogra (No 2)

The appeal concerned an application for an adjournment of a hearing before the Court of Appeal. The parties involved were the appellant, Dogra, and the respondents, also named Dogra.

Payne JA considered the application and determined that an adjournment was warranted. The court vacated an earlier order made on 27 May 2024 and, in lieu thereof, ordered that the appeal be listed for a one-day hearing on Monday, 16 September 2024. Orders 3 to 8 made on 27 May 2024 were confirmed. The second respondent was ordered to pay the costs of the hearing on 21 June 2024, as well as any costs incurred as a result of the adjournment.
