In the matter of *Denton & Zei*, Stevenson J of the Family Court of Australia considered orders concerning a child, X, born in 2012. The dispute involved the parental responsibility and living arrangements for the child, as well as the child's Australian passport and inclusion on the Airport Watch List.

The court was required to determine the appropriate orders regarding the child's parental responsibility, where the child should live, and whether the child should be permitted to hold an Australian passport and be removed from the Airport Watch List.

Stevenson J discharged all existing orders concerning the child and made new orders granting the mother sole parental responsibility. The child was ordered to live with the mother, and the Registry Manager was directed to release the child's Australian passport to the mother. Furthermore, any orders placing the child on the Airport Watch List were discharged, and the mother was authorised to take all necessary steps to ensure the child held a current Australian passport.
