Cattini and Hunt

In the matter of *Cattini and Hunt*, heard before Cronin J, the parties were engaged in proceedings concerning final orders. An application alleging contravention was withdrawn by leave. The court was required to determine the precise orders to be sought at trial by both the applicant and the respondent(s), and to establish a clear position from the Independent Children’s Lawyer regarding proposed orders.

Cronin J directed that the parties file and serve amended applications and responses by 4 pm on 31 May 2012, detailing with precision the final orders sought. The Independent Children’s Lawyer was also directed to advise each party of any firm position on intended proposed orders and to present a copy of those orders to the Court on the return date. The solicitors for both the husband and wife were ordered to forthwith notify the Independent Children’s Lawyer of the court's orders and the day's discussions. The court listed all extant applications for final orders for a first day of hearing on 4 June 2012, requiring the attendance of the parties and their legal practitioners. There were no orders as to costs.
