Burton and Burton

In *Burton and Burton*, heard before Cronin J, the dispute concerned the parental responsibility for two children, M and H.

The central legal issue before the Court was the determination of which parent should have sole parental responsibility for the children.

Cronin J ordered that Mr Burton have sole parental responsibility for both M and H. The Court further noted that parental responsibility encompasses all legal duties, powers, responsibilities, and authority that parents hold in relation to their children.
