In the matter of *Bunce & Squirrel*, heard by Johns J, the wife sought a range of interim property orders. These included the sale of the former matrimonial home, reimbursement of funds allegedly removed by the husband's solicitor from a trust fund, litigation funding under sections 117 and/or 74 of the *Family Law Act 1975* (Cth), and injunctions to restrain the husband from dealing with property.

The primary legal issues before the court concerned the appropriate interim orders to be made in relation to the parties' property, including the management of funds held in trust, and the provision of litigation funding. The court was also required to determine whether to grant injunctions restraining the husband's dealings with assets.

Johns J ordered that the monies held upon trust by GPZ Legal for the parties be transferred forthwith into an interest-bearing account in their joint names. This account was to be held by their respective lawyers, GPZ Legal and F Family Lawyers, on trust for the parties until further order or written agreement. The court also made a finding that the matter reasonably required the attendance of counsel, and all other extant interim applications were dismissed.
