Buckwater and Perry

In *Buckwater and Perry*, heard before Young J, the dispute concerned applications made by both the father and the mother. The father filed an application on 17 March 2009, and the mother responded with her own application on 1 April 2009.

The court was required to determine whether to grant the orders sought by the father, and also to consider the orders sought by the mother in her response, specifically in relation to paragraphs 1 and 3 of her application.

Young J dismissed the father's application. The court also dismissed the orders sought by the mother in paragraphs 1 and 3 of her application, with the caveat that these orders could be re-issued if appropriate circumstances and sufficient material were presented in the future. The extempore reasons for judgment were to be transcribed and made available to the parties.
