Berrun and Gele

In the matter of *Berrun and Gele*, heard by Barry J of the Family Court of Australia, the Mother sought a review of Orders made by Principal Registrar Filippello on 1 April 2010. The Mother also filed a further Application in Form 2 on 28 April 2010.

The court was required to determine whether to uphold the Principal Registrar's previous orders and how to proceed with the Mother's subsequent application. The court also needed to address the issue of costs associated with these proceedings.

Barry J dismissed the Mother's application for review of the Principal Registrar's orders. The Mother's further application was adjourned for a Judicial Duty short cause day hearing. Directions were made for the parties to file and serve a case outline and a list of required documents by 13 October 2010. The Father was ordered to file written submissions on costs within fourteen days of the order, with the Mother to file her submissions fourteen days thereafter. Costs were reserved.
