Australian Building and Construction Commissioner v Adadn Pty Ltd

The Australian Building and Construction Commissioner (the applicant) brought proceedings against Adadn Pty Ltd (the respondent) in the Federal Court of Australia. The Court also took into account the respondent's history of previous contraventions of industrial legislation, including breaches of Queensland workers' compensation and labour hire laws, and findings of unfair dismissal by the Fair Work Commission.

The Court ordered that the respondent pay a penalty for its contraventions.
