Arndale and Kingley

In the matter of *Arndale and Kingley*, Kent J of the Family Court of Australia considered a dispute between the Mother, Ms Arndale, and the Father, Mr Kingley, concerning their child, C. The proceedings involved directions for the assessment of the child and the parties.

The central legal issue before the Court was the appropriate course of action to facilitate the gathering of information relevant to the child's welfare, specifically through interviews to be conducted by a Family Consultant.
