This matter concerned an application for final orders regarding the parenting arrangements for a child, X, born in 2009. The proceedings were before Judge Obradovic.

The court was required to determine the orders for parental responsibility, the child's living arrangements, and the time the child would spend with each parent. Additionally, the court needed to make orders concerning communication between the parents and the child, and the conduct of the parents in relation to each other and the child.

Judge Obradovic made orders for equal shared parental responsibility, meaning both parents would continue to have joint responsibility for major long-term decisions concerning the child. The child was ordered to live with the mother, with specific and detailed arrangements for the child to spend time with the father during school terms and holidays. These arrangements included provisions for pick-up and drop-off, telephone contact, and a prohibition on derogatory remarks about the other parent in the child's presence. The court also ordered that each parent must keep the other informed of their contact details.

The matter was subsequently listed for directions on 6 April 2017.
